I can see Christmas decorations and illumination everywhere in Japan, too. I feel these decorations and illumination are showy more and more every year. Mmm..., Japanese really know why people celebrate Christmas? I think Japanese just love festival^^;; However it's interesting to see Japanese fickle scenery^^

Anyway, it's a present for us from a depertment xD

What a cute! A department in Shibuya, Tokyo is decorated XD!!

Also, I went a lecture the day I took this picture. On Dec 1, We had a 25th anniversary commemorative ceremony of International Political Economic Department in Aoyama Gakuin University, and an ex-preminer, Mr.Nakasone, came to our university to lecture. The contents was difficult, however, I think it's good to be able to meet such a famous people^^

Please take care not to catch a cold--^^

Last escape ^^;

I went to trip again~ ^^

This time, I went to Izu area, in Shizuoka Prefecture, with my friends. They are really cheerful and funny. They always set me laughing!

Izu area is the side of the sea, so seafood is really good, specially fresh fish and dried fish. I ate many fish ^^ However, the day we left our hometown for Izu, a typhoon hit the Kanto area, especially Izu area!! It was frightening ><

I enjoyed the trip though the typhoon was severe and some roads were closed, hahaha!
Anyway, it was the last trip in summer vacation ;-( My summer vacation this year is full of memories. And now, all I have to do is ....to read some books and finish my report. Whaa- ><

Also, food was good. Mmm~, special products in Kyoto are pickled vegitables, powdered green tea, Yatsuhasi(kind of thin rice cake which is made with cinnamon). Especially, the seasoning of meal is meticulous so they were really acrumptions^^!

In addition, I went to another city, Osaka. It aslo characterristic city in Japan. Osaka people are really cheerful, especially women in past middle age are (We call them "Obachan") really funny like comedians^^

Anyway, I could relax by spending time visiting temples and shrines, so I felt that I am Japanese. I want to go there again~

Fun!Fun!!Fun!!!

I got it! I understood how to upload images!!

The past a couple of days, it was really fun!

On Saturday, I went to a festival and saw portable shrines. I didn’t carry them because my friend couldn’t come this year because of her business. I wanted to carry them~... But I will next year!!

On Sunday, I went to BBQ with my classmate of my high school days, however, two people of the member were bad condition because one had a hangover and another was lack of sleep ^-^; In spite of that, thank you for coming~! I want to see you all again soon!!

And today, I went to my grandma’s house to give souvenirs. I talked with her, my uncle, and my cousins! It was really fun. So I earnestly burst into laughter because my grandma always says waggish things ^0^ She brought up me from I was born to my kindergarten admission because both of my parents work. I love grandma~~!!!!

I'm home ^o^

I came back to Japan, at 3 p.m. Japan time yesterday. I could nothing because I was tired, so all I could do was to take a bath and sleep ^-^; I’m going take action lively from tomorrow. There is a festival near my house tomorrow; I’m going to carry a portable shrine with my childhood friend. It looks fun, right??

Looking back upon my tour, I learned a lot of things. First, I could brush up my English skill, especially speaking because I had many chances to speak English and teachers and mentors taught me many phrases. Second, I could see a lot of things which I wanted to see, for example, The white House, Lincoln Memorial, etc.
Of course, American restaurants and chatting with all members were really fun,too ^-^♪ Third, it was most important for me, I could rediscovery good and bad points of Japanese culture as I went to America because it is difficult for us to understand own country’s culture while being own country, right? So, I want to say is the tour gave me opportunities to think over about many things. Anyway, I cannot talk about everything, so we have to meet up again ^o^!! I’m going to keep in touch with you with this blog and facebook, too!
Maybe I ask how to use fasebook…

Thank you for all of you who take care of us!!

That't the D.C.!!

I went to some neighborhoods yesterday, for example, African-American and Hispanic. The atmosphere was really different from Maryland. I saw many interesting things there, especially Hispanic neighborhood, for instance, a Hispanic supermarket and a Latin music store. It made me happy because the atmosphere was active!! I like it as much as Maryland.

Next was the best place that I could feel “I came to Washington. D.C.” (too late??) It was The White House!! I could not come near to it; however, it was really excited. I wanted to meet Mr. Bush if I could. Anyway, I was satisfied to visit it! Sad to say, my study tour is drawing to a close. I made a lot of memory in Maryland and Washington.D.C. , so I want to come here again!!

And then I want to say thank you to ...

Hiromi: Your comments make me high motivation to post new one! I want to meet you in Aoyama! Thank you so much(^o^)!

Dennis: You are really my grandpa!! I love your gentle comments. Thank you so much!

Berta: Thank you for your comments from far country. I was really happy to read your comments!

The University of Maryland University College

I went to the University of Maryland University College yesterday. I saw a lot of art, especially, Japanese and Chinese art were good. I felt that it is difficult to explain my own culture to another person, so I thought that I should study my culture if I go to abroad. Also, I was happy because I found international people are interested in Japanese culture.

Happy Weekend!

Happy Weekend!

This weekend was really really fun! On Friday, I took part in Nina’s party. I could talk with many people there, for instance, Nina’s husband, Vicki, and their friends. Also, dinner was good. After that, I went to karaoke! I enjoyed myself because I could not have been to karaoke long time, hahaha! On Saturday, I went to Annapolis. This town has the sea, the landscape (seascape??) was so beautiful. It became my favorite place. On Sunday, I could spent full time, in other words, it was sightseeing day! I went to the National Museum of the American Indian, the National Museum of Natural History, Lincoln Memorial, and Vietnam Memorial. It was good experience to go such artistic or historical place. Anyway, weekend was great, and I love weekends, hahaha (^-^)/
